Do you ever feel untalented?

Do you often hear ‘successful’ people say, do the things you are good at, and hone in on your strengths to become successful in life? I get triggered when I hear that! I simply don’t know where my talent lies. If you have read my previous blogs, you would know that I am passionate about business (cheeky of me… feel free to check out my small business by visiting raiseurvibrations.etsy). But even then, it’s only my interest. Yes, I run my own business, but I sometimes feel like I don’t have the talent to grow it. Maybe I am impatient. Perhaps I am comparing the beginning of my journey to someone’s end. But one thing that is clear as day in my mind is that I feel I have very little distinctive talent that I can fall back on. From a young age, the only things I excelled at were the things I put the most time and energy into learning to do. That’s probably one of my strengths, but it’s a hard truth to uphold because I have a constant need to grind and work. It’s tiring, and it almost always sends me into a downward spiral, feeling belittle and unworthy because I don’t keep the promises I made to myself. BUT, as a believer in our great and powerful minds, I know that this feeling of lack roots from years of subconscious programming influenced by our external environment, dictating who we are. Thinking about it, I was always a crafty kid, but not as creative as a student who was acknowledged by the teachers for having painted the best self-portrait in class. But a crafty kid regardless. Thus, growing up, it was easier to put more value on my grades which I could control and get praised for. We may have been put in situations where we would have hidden our desires to pursue something others deemed important. It is now time to own what you always enjoyed doing! Yes, someone else might do it better than you, but they don’t do it like you. The way you think, see and act is different for e.v.e.r.y s.i.n.g.l.e p.e.r.s.o.n because we are the main character in our own stories.

Once you become fearless, life becomes limitless.

I don’t know about you, but I am tired! I constantly keep getting lost through the journey of finding out my hidden gems to the point I lose my sense of being… ALL THE TIME! (Blog on comparison is destruction in action!). Though somewhere deep in my heart, I know I have a purpose for my existence, I believe that is the same for each of us! The true power comes from TRYING. The fact that we are looking to discover what we want to invest our whole lives doing, whether that be one thing or hundred things, we are seeking an answer. Say this prayer for reinforcement that everything will work out in divine timing: “Ask, and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be open unto you”. The mere fact that we are looking for answers is a sign of hope, so don’t give up and keep going (A message I need to remind myself each and every day). We are powerful beyond our belief, but we are wasting our talents dwelling on things that we don’t have! We are soo concerned about what will be that we forget that we are creating our future, RIGHT NOW, right at this moment. Worry and fear are taking away from a blissful life that is at arms reach.

Divine timing is something we all need to grow to understand. We are too often drawing comparisons of our lives with people that we don’t even know personally! You might have heard this saying! ‘Someone will graduate at 21, but wait 6 years to get a good job. Someone with no education will be a millionaire at 21. Someone will get married at 20 but divorce 5 years later. Someone will get married at 30, but find everlasting love. You’re not late, you’re not early. You’re on time. – Unknown. This is true! If we start to believe that anything is possible for us, our possibilities are endless, but we need to start by programming our minds to believe so. Just as most powerful forces in nature are the invisible ones – hear, light, air, electricity – so the most powerful forces of man are his invisible forces, his thought forces. And just as electricity can fuse stone and iron, so can your thought forces control your body, so can they make or break your destiny.
